NJTSS-CA: Attendance as Prevention
This course provides K-12 educators and school staff with a comprehensive understanding of the critical role attendance plays in student success. Participants will explore the foundational concepts of chronic absenteeism, including its impact on academic achievement, engagement, and long-term outcomes.
NJTSS-CA: Shared Understanding and Legal Foundations
This course builds a shared understanding of chronic absenteeism through ESSA accountability. Participants learn when a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) is required, its six required components, parent involvement, school board review steps, and common compliance questions.
